Faith-based expressions of a Christian.

About

with one comment

I am a Christian, husband and father of two sons. I am almost certainly the most unique fundamentalist Christian, member of a Baptist Church, police officer and holder of conservative political views you will ever meet. I do not fit the stereotype for any of those labels. In fact, I dislike labels because they pre-suppose beliefs and positions.

I am a fundamentalist Christian, but I don’t believe we should have an amendment to the constitution which bans same-sex marriage. I do not believe legislating morality causes morality. I also enjoy learning about various religions and their cultures, though I would never abandon my beliefs. I enjoy beer now and then too.
I belong to a Baptist Church, but I’m not a Baptist. I am a Christian. I would remain a Christian if I switched to another Church and my beliefs would remain the same. There is no perfect denominational Church upon this earth.
